What To Wear For Everyday Casual

Everyday casual wear is much different than a special night out, or even business clothing. This casual look can include basics such as jeans and t-shirts, to snappy little capris and sundresses. Depending on the time of year, you may look into warmer clothing. This means that everyday wear could include such lush fabrics as wool, cotton, Lycra, and Polyester blends. It is best to incorporate fabrics that breath, as this can cut down on the amount of staining, odors, and heat that you may experience while wearing. The rule of thumb is to find fabrics that are cotton based, or mixed.

During warmer months especially, fabrics that are Lycra based or even silk, tend to have a hotter stickier feel. For everyday casual stick to the light and flowing fabrics that help to cool, while keeping you fashionable. The other trade secret for keeping cool while looking cool is wear light colors. The opposite goes for the cooler months as the heavier synthetic fabrics and darker colors play a major role in what people wear. Much of fashion is also dictated by the type of climate that is typical. For instance, people in Miami, Florida would never wear charcoal gray wool sweaters, and people in Maine would never consider wearing sandals in February. Make sure that your style of clothing is a good reflection of not just you, but also the area that you live in. It is always a good idea to stick with color and trends that seem to be appropriate, because it is wiser to not have shock value, and to just look good.

Finally, take time on your clothing choices. Chances are, for your everyday look you have had the same pair of jeans for 10 years. Try a new look, or trend. This will help make you feel more confident about how you dress.

Formal Outfits

Clothing for special occasion is very specific. You tend to see ornate dresses, elaborate fabric styles like taffeta, lame, and silk. There is usually some type of beading, lining, or organza that is attached to the dress or suit. It is obvious when you see a formal outfit that it is intended for a nice event, and not the office. Think of wedding attire. However, many women do not know how to put these outfits together properly to show off the design of the dress, or to accentuate their own natural beauty. There is an old saying the fashion industry, don’t let the dress wear you, you wear the dress.

Special occasion outfits also require a different type of accessories. This is the one time where the glitzy and glamour absolutely applies. Wearing gaudy costume jewelry is a nice touch to add to a beautiful dress. This can be done with larger than normal dangle earrings, a nice bracelet, and depending on the neckline of the dress, a nice necklace. Watches are typically not worn for special occasions, and rings are usually kept to a minimum. The color also is important. The saying, “dripping in diamonds,” is fitting for this type of situation so you want to stay away from too many colored stones, and just stick with the white diamond look. The final touch for an outfit that is more formal is the purse. It is a major no-no to have a bulky fashion purse. The simulated stones are of the same composition as its real counterpart, but lab created. They can even irradiate real stones to alter their color to represent a more expensive color.

There are many different setting that fashion jewelry can be worn, in fact many famous and wealthy people opt for the created versions of jewels so that they do not have to worry about loss or theft. This is becoming so popular that even the famous jeweler Harry Winston has offered to create replicas of his work for Red Carpet evenings. For the common man, woman, fashion jewelry is a necessary accessory for any outfit. Today, solid metals and length are in style. Having a color coordinated stone is good, but not necessary. Seasons And Their Colors

Each season brings a specific set of colors with it. For example, fall brings the oranges, browns, yellows, and reds. This is why when people get their colors completed for their best look they are labeled a season, not just a color set. If a person is labeled a the season of Spring, which is pastels that are soft and lovely, chances are they will not look very good in Fall or Winter colors. While most people can wear colors that are incorporated in just about any season, you will see when someone is not wearing the right color for them, as their skin, hair, and eyes do not look complimented, but sickly or drab.

Going back to the Spring example, most people that are considered a Spring do not look good in super white or white-white. Their skin needs to have some yellow or a hint of another shade. This is truer of those skin tones that are green based. Green based skin tones have a beautiful underlying color, but tends to clash badly with stark solid, or bright primary colors.  For these types, it is best to avoid yellow based colors. The other skin types are red based and yellow based. While there is the idea that only specific nationalities have specific color bases, the truth is that anyone can have any one of the three tones, regardless of ethnicity or skin color.

Getting your colors done is a great way to find out what colors will work best for you, and to find out what season you are. This will help you make good decisions on the types of outfits that will work with your exact features, making fashion a snap, and all of your friends jealous.

Fashion Patterns That Are A Hit

Patterns are a good thing is used properly with fashionable outfits. The problem comes when patterns are used as the entire outfit, and we find that there is a pattern overload. For example, paisley and plaid. For some strange reason this combination actually had a following in the 1970′s. We are ever so grateful to the fashion gods for putting the kibosh to that episode, but unfortunately not everyone got the memo. So when in paisley or plaid used in a nice way? It seems that designer Vera Bradley has found a nice balance between the horrible and the simply adorable.

Other patterns that are good for you and me include accesorizing with animal prints. The animal prints can be in scarfs, belts, shoes, or with fashion jewelry worn with the ensemble. There are some patterns though that while they are trendy, do horrors to those that wear them. Take for instance polka dots. This is a timeless pattern, but is not flattering on many people. The reason being is that certain body types are not in their best light when wearing the cutesy dot pattern.

More than anything, being conscientious about your body type, fashion do’s and don’ts, and how you would feel if seeing it on someone else, will bring about your inner fashion savvy. This will help you to make wise decisions when picking out outfits and when going out to show of your creation. It can be the difference between getting stares of disgust, or stares of fascination.

When a formal occasion arises, it is important to have the best formal wear possible. This means that you want to be unique and original in your ideas, and most importantly, be the star of the event. In some cases, the stardom goes without saying, like a wedding. Not all events are this exclusive for one individual, like proms or balls. Many assume that black is the color of choice for these occasions, but that is not the case. In face, color breathes life into a formal dress. The best part of any outfit is the way it is accessorized. In fact, some people tend to notice only the accessories and sometimes miss the details of the outfit altogether. This is a good way to tie in looks that you like, but may not completely in style. Fashion For Your Life

Believe it or not, fashion is our life. It is around us all the time, and when we are not thinking about it, it is still something that is surrounding us and our thoughts. Think about the last time you went to the mall. You see the window displays, but are not really paying attention to the types of outfits being worn. Then you look at people at the mall and realize that there are a lot of people that do not dress well. You were not paying attention to the displays, but you noticed the everyday people walking around. This is how you know fashion is an inner part of our society. So, how do you avoid being the person that people notice in the mall as being a train wreck? There are few ways to avoid this issue.

The first way is to be conscientious of your body type. If you are soft around the edges, try not to wear tight clothing. This can help to accentuate all the wrong curves. Next, be mindful of your age. This may sound harsh, but things that look great on a 16 year old will probably look a little out of place on a 35 year old. The last thing is to know your colors. Being aware of what colors look good on you, and what colors do not is a great way to boost your fashion success. People will not know why, but they will look at you, and you will just look good.
